Sign PDF
Produces an electronic signature: a visual mark showing intent. Draw with a finger or mouse, type your name, or upload an image of a real signature, then position it on any page.

How this tool works
- 1Your signature is captured as an image in the browser and never leaves the page.
- 2It is embedded into the document at the position and size you set.
- 3Placement accounts for page rotation, so a rotated scan is signed where you expect.
What it will not do
- This is an electronic signature, not a cryptographic digital signature. It shows intent; it does not prove the document is unaltered or verify who you are.
- For anything regulated, check what the recipient requires before relying on this.
- Flatten the document afterwards if the mark should not be movable.
Where this runs
Sign PDF runs entirely inside this page. Your file is read by the browser, processed in memory and handed back to your downloads folder. It is never sent to a server, because there is no server involved in this tool.

In many jurisdictions an electronic signature is sufficient for ordinary agreements, but the answer depends on where you are and what you are signing. Ask the person receiving it what they need. Nothing here is legal advice.
