Split by Bookmarks
Each top-level bookmark starts a new file, running to the page before the next one. The bookmark's title becomes the file name.

What it will not do
- Splits on top-level bookmarks only. Nested ones stay inside their parent's file.
- A document with no outline cannot be split this way; use Split PDF with page ranges instead.
- Sections are inferred from where each bookmark points, so an outline whose pages are wrong produces files that are wrong in the same way.
Where this runs
Split by Bookmarks runs entirely inside this page. Your file is read by the browser, processed in memory and handed back to your downloads folder. It is never sent to a server, because there is no server involved in this tool.
